A Pendant with a Cross Handing on a Rear-view Mirror in the Car

“When you recognize and accept that things are the way they are, and that the present is all we truly have, then it’s not too far of a leap to believe that the present is perfect. Maybe not optimum, but it is perfect to learn from and to grow from.” ~ Thomas J. Leonard

There is a reason your windshield is larger than your rearview mirror. It is far more important to be looking at what is right in front of you than what you’ve already passed.

Living with a driver’s present-minded view has many benefits.

  • It helps you see what is, not what you think “should be”
  • It’s the only place where you can actually do / change something
  • You can learn more quickly from it
  • There are always positive gifts in it, when you’re willing and able to see it

Stop looking in the rearview. The view out the front has a lot more potential to it.
