MVG FWD Through Busyness

There are seasons in life when the to-do list feels endless, and every moment seems accounted for before it even arrives. You’ve been there—juggling work responsibilities, family obligations, personal goals, and unexpected challenges that demand your attention. It’s easy to feel overwhelmed, but even in the busiest times, there are ways to keep moving forward without losing yourself in the process.

Embrace the Present Moment: Often, busyness propels you into a future-focused mindset, constantly thinking about the next task or deadline. Take a few moments each day to breathe deeply, observe your surroundings, and reconnect with the here and now.

Prioritize with Purpose: Not everything is important. Take a step back and evaluate your commitments. What’s truly important? What aligns with your values, your gifts, and your vision? Allocate your energy more effectively and let go of activities that drain you.

Set Boundaries to Protect Your Time: It’s okay to say no. In fact, it’s necessary. Remember, every time you say yes to something, you’re saying no to something else—often, that “something else” is your well-being.

Cultivate Small Moments of Joy: During all the busyness, intentionally schedule time for activities that bring you happiness. It will recharge your battery and keep you motivated.

Use the MVG FWD reframe-work to intentionally set up your calendar to use 90% of your time doing the important work you were made to do. Work that charges you up, not wears you down.  Use the remaining 10% doing the things that are important but tedious, draining. Stop doing the rest of the things that “keep you busy” or pay someone else to do it for you.

Get out of the business of busyness and get busy taking steps that move you forward.
