Back to the Future is one of my favorite movie series. Growing up in the eighties, Marty and Doc allowed imaginations to begin linking the past with the future all while the main characters were living their present in both. How’s that for a mind bender?
Unlike Marty or Doc, you cannot go back in time to change something that has already occurred, setting off a butterfly effect allowing you to come back to the present with a new truck and the girl or guy of your dreams. However, like Marty or Doc, you do have the ability to make changes that will affect the present future.
The present future is a period of time right in front of you. Kinda like when you’re on a roadtrip and you see what’s ahead of you through the windshield although you’re not quite there yet. There are a lot of opportunities in the present future to avoid potholes, road construction, and speed traps. Or to decide a simple change of scenery is what you need.
Getting back to the present future doesn’t require a DeLorean or a bolt of lightning. It simply requires you to be more aware of it. What you do today sets up what you’re able to do tomorrow. Not what you did in the past.
Go back to the present future and move forward faster.
