Compass On Hand

“The biggest differences emerge from making lots of little differences.” ~ Thomas J. Leonard

Discard the idea that you can move forward in life without making changes. Moving forward requires you to grow and evolve, both are fueled by change. Your attitude towards it conditions the results you will experience from it. Regardless, you direct the direction in which you are going.

Here are some simple tips to help you adopt a growth mindset.

  • Change your environment. Sometimes the easiest change to manage is your environment. Making small adjustments to where you live and work that bring a smile to your face.
  • Change your mind. What is something you can change your mind about? Could be as small as what toothpaste you’re using or as big as what candidate you support. Changing your mind sets you up for being open minded.
  • Change a habit. Science is proving that your brain is re-programmable. When you intentionally take on a new habit, the neural pathways in your brain change. You can literally rewire your brain to support the change you want.

The amount of autonomy you have is linked to the mindset you adopt. You can either stay where you are (fixed) or experience moving forward (growth). It’s completely and totally up to you.
